Meet Our Staff

Rulin J. Hawks, P.T.

Rulin J. Hawks, P.T. graduated from the University of Utah in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in physical therapy. After working for two years in the Boise area at a long-term rehabilitation center, he decided to broaden his horizon by working in a local hospital where he would be exposed to a larger, more diverse, and challenging patient population. He worked at West Valley Medical Center for six years in both out patient and in-patient departments. In August of 2004, Rulin decided spread his wings and ventured out on his own by establishing Caldwell Physical Therapy at 1902 S. 10th Ave in Caldwell, Idaho.

Due to an ever-increasing patient population, Caldwell Physical Therapy relocated to meet the growing demand for services. In May of 2009, Rulin moved Caldwell Physical Therapy to its new, larger location in the Caldwell Medical Arts Building at 1818 S. 10th Ave, Ste 100A in Caldwell, Idaho.

Rulin and Caldwell Physical Therapy are dedicated to the delivery of excellent patient-oriented care. Rulin specializes in the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries sustained at work and in motor vehicle accidents, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Rulin is bilingual. He speaks fluent Spanish and enjoys working with the Hispanic community of Canyon County.

Jonathan Orchard, P.T.A.

Jonathan graduated from Boise State University in 2009 with a B.S. in Exercise Science. While in school, after receiving his NASM certification, he worked as a personal trainer and continued to do so once he graduated. In 2013 he got his EMT license, and graduated from the fire academy. He then worked as a firefighter for the Kuna Fire Department. After being injured in a firefighting training exercise, Jonathan received physical therapy treatment. This in turn was the start of his true passion for physical therapy. Jonathan returned to school and earned a AAS degree for PTA from the College of Western Idaho.

Jonathan joined Caldwell Physical Therapy in April of 2017 and looks forward to utilizing his skills and knowledge in treating patients while providing excellent care. Jonathan hopes to pursue future options in the field by continuing his education with a PT degree.
